Dogs bark – the caravan is coming. This saying best describes what is happening with Huawei today. The Chinese company, despite US sanctions and a one-time ban on the use of Google and Android services, managed to continue software support for branded devices. As a result, Huawei users not only did not stop receiving monthly security patches but also found hope for further update of the operating system. Answer
Huawei will officially unveil EMUI 10 based on Android Q for its smartphones on August 9th. The update will be presented at the annual Huawe Developers Conference, which will be held in Dongguan, China from August 9 to 11. Huawe has already published the schedule of the event, among the events of which is the announcement of the long-awaited update.
Huawei smartphones with Android Q support
Initially, EMUI 10 will be available on the brand’s flagship smartphones. The devices of the P30, P20 and Mate 20 line will enter the first wave of distribution.

Huawei changed her mind and decided not to disappoint her users anymore
EMUI 10 will be one of the most iconic updates of Huawei’s own shell. One of its main innovations will be support for Ark Compiler technology, which can accelerate Android, launch applications and perform system tasks up to 60%. This technology was introduced at the beginning of the year, however, until now, Huawei has not released it in open swimming.
When will Hongmeng come out?
It is logical to assume that if Huawei devotes the upcoming event to updating EMUI 10, you obviously should not count on the presentation of the Hongmeng operating system . Huawei is unlikely to want to push two iconic products between its foreheads, and therefore, obviously, will spread their announcements in time. Hongnemg, most likely, will be presented only in a few months – closer to November.
